This course offers a comprehensive exploration of multimodal learning strategies in music, emphasizing creativity, community engagement, and improvisation. Taught by an experienced lecturer, emphasis is on crafting a well-rounded curriculum grounded in philosophical principles. Students will participate in both creation and performance of music.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define and communicate course objectives clearly
• Prepare engaging course materials and assignments
• Teach classes effectively as per schedule
• Evaluate student submissions and administer final grades
• Maintain reasonable consultation hours for student support
Requirements:
• Graduate degree in music technology required
• Experience teaching at the university level
• Extensive knowledge of music technology in education
• Background in community music is essential
• Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion
