OCAD University is seeking a Sessional Instructor for Workshop 1, aimed at fostering creativity in graphic design students for Fall 2026-27. Guide learners in developing their unique design processes.
This temporary position involves teaching GRPH-4015, integrating research into studio work while addressing contemporary design challenges. Responsibilities include lectures, critiques, and course development meetings. An ideal candidate brings a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, excellent communication, and a rigor in promoting diversity in higher education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead workshops and constructive critique sessions
• Manage the preparation and delivery of course materials
• Ensure compliance with academic and health standards
• Engage in regular curriculum development meetings
• Assess and provide feedback on student projects
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field
• Strong communication and mentoring abilities
