The Faculty of Music rge in Downtown Toronto is hiring for the EMU
456Y1 course. In this role, you will teach string and full orchestra lab programs and woodwind and brass ensembles. The position includes defining course objectives, preparing materials, and providing guidelines for students, as well as evaluating assignments and submitting final grades.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach string and full orchestra labs effectively
• Conduct woodwind and brass ensemble classes
• Define course objectives and prepare materials
• Evaluate student assignments and administer classes
• Maintain consultation hours for student support
Requirements:
• Graduate degree in music education or performance
• Experience with beginners on string or wind instruments
• Knowledge of pedagogy and repertoire for ensembles
• Ability to coordinate course objectives and guidelines
• Commitment to student engagement outside of class hours
