Art Criticism at the University of Toronto's Daniels Faculty. This role includes delivering course materials and engaging students in contemporary art discourse.
Candidates must possess an MA or MFA, along with prior teaching experience. Strong writing and publishing in Contemporary Art is essential. Your duties will involve preparing and managing digital materials, assessing assignments, and facilitating student inquiries and contact hours.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver course materials effectively
• Manage digital teaching platforms and resources
• Supervise teaching assistants during lectures
• Assess assignments and final examinations efficiently
• Handle student enquiries, appeals, and petitions
Requirements:
•
Required:
MA or MFA in relevant field
• Previous teaching experience at higher education institutions
• Strong writing and publishing background in art
• Preferred:
Internationally recognized art practice
• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
