As an instructor, you will work within a collaborative team, focusing on developing curricula that support civic engagement for women newcomers. Your commitment to high teaching standards, along with your compliance with Canadian Language Benchmark guidelines, will drive student success. This role spans up to 23 hours weekly, emphasizing both in-person and digital learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver lessons adhering to Canadian Language Benchmark standards
• Design creative lesson plans geared towards adult learners
• Promote an inclusive learning environment for participants
• Integrate classroom activities with digital learning tools
• Track and report on student attendance and progress
Requirements:
• Must hold TESL-Ontario certification
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent required
• Three years of adult teaching experience preferred
• Leadership and strong reporting capabilities
• Familiarity with anti-oppression and human rights frameworks
