Position: Vanguard Scholars Summer Faculty Role
Become a Summer Academy Faculty member in the Vanguard Scholars Program at the University of Toronto. Focus on teaching mathematics and writing to elevate Black students' academic preparedness this summer.

This faculty position centers around collaborating with high-achieving Black students as part of the Black North Initiative. You'll provide mentorship and develop robust university-preparatory instruction over a six-week intensive program. Engaging lessons and constructive evaluations will be essential to ensuring students thrive in their educational pursuits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate university-preparatory courses in mathematics and writing

• Design interactive and engaging lesson plans

• Evaluate and support student performance

• Offer regular office hours for academic guidance

• Collaborate with program leadership and assist teaching staff

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline

• 4+ semesters of relevant teaching experience

• Skilled in using educational technology

• Strong communication capabilities

• Legal work authorization in Canada
