10Y3 - New Media Senior Project
Students develop a new media project that furthers their research into theoretical issues around digital media practices and artefacts. Projects may focus on digital media ranging from the internet to gaming, to social networking and the Web, to CD‑ROMS, DVDs, mobile apps, and Virtual and Augmented Reality technologies.

- All normal duties related to the design and teaching of a university credit course, including preparation and delivery of course content; development, administration and marking of assignments and final portfolios; calculation and submission of grades; holding regular office hours.
- A degree or extensive experience across various new media technologies (media production, virtual design, Adobe Suite, app development, videography, etc.).
- Sound understanding of the New Media Studies program curriculum at UTSC.
- Strong academic record and professional promise; ongoing practice/research in the field to include new media practice in art and/or industry.
- Post‑secondary teaching experience required.
Applicants should include a 1–2‑page course proposal with their application materials.
CompensationStipend rate for a half course (Y, F or S), inclusive of vacation pay, will be:
Sessional Lecturer I – Long Term (Six or more years as SL I): $21,398.43. Please note that rates stated in the collective agreement prevail.
