This Sessional Lecturer role for the Winter Term 2027 includes responsibilities such as preparing informative lectures, developing course evaluations, and grading a diverse group of up to 36 students. Extensive teaching experience and an understanding of various instructional methods are essential to enhance student learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver engaging lectures and lab sessions
• Create evaluations, including assignments and exams
• Assess and grade student work with care
• Hold office hours for student guidance and support
• Engage in university-related activities as needed
Requirements:
• Doctorate or Master’s degree in relevant disciplines
• Expertise in cataloguing practices or library services
• Demonstrated teaching experience preferred
• Must be located near the University of Toronto
• Familiarity with diverse teaching methodologies
