The position focuses on the MMG
3003Y graduate course and entails teaching essential molecular biology concepts related to genomic testing. Candidates should hold an advanced degree and have relevant teaching experience along with familiarity with computational analysis in genomics. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead three weekly sessions of lectures and tutorials
• Prepare engaging and informative course content
• Answer student questions and support academic growth
• Collaborate with experienced faculty on course execution
• Manage TA assistance throughout the term
Requirements:
• Advanced degree (MD or PhD) in genetics or related field
• Previous experience in university teaching
• Strong grasp of genomic methodologies and DNA techniques
• Experience with computational pipelines in R
• Excellent communication and teaching abilities
