The University of Toronto is looking for a sessional lecturer for the FOR
3010HS course starting January 2027. Candidates should ideally hold a Ph.D. or possess extensive experience in forest conservation. The role includes designing seminar-style classes that emphasize student engagement, covering complex topics in forest governance and social equity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver lectures on the social dimensions of forestry
• Facilitate guest lectures and maintain course outlines
• Create and evaluate assignments and final marks
• Lead a winter field camp for hands-on learning
• Provide student support during office hours
Requirements:
