Humber Polytechnic Medical Laboratory Professor

Fulfill your passion for teaching by becoming a Professor for the Medical Laboratory Sciences at Humber Polytechnic's North Campus. This full-time role requires expertise in lab disciplines and a focus on student success.

As part of the Faculty of Health & Life Sciences, you will teach a comprehensive curriculum in the Medical Laboratory Assistant and Technology programs. This position involves dedicated teaching, curriculum planning, and practical skill assessment, while building collaborative relationships with industry partners and supporting research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction across five key laboratory areas

• Develop assessments and manage classroom interactions

• Foster an inclusive learning environment for students

• Support student recruitment and partnerships in healthcare

• Engage with research initiatives and departmental committees

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree essential;
Master’s preferred

• At least five years of experience as Medical Laboratory Technologist

• Active CMLTO licensure required

• Previous teaching experience in adult education is a plus
