Advance the education of forestry students as a Sessional Lecturer for FOR
3008HF at the University of Toronto. Collaborate with students to enhance their learning and presentation skills for their capstone projects.
This position in the Faculty of Architecture, Landscape & Design requires you to support Master of Forest Conservation students from September to December 2026. You will develop engaging workshops, assess student work, and coordinate their final presentations. Maintaining communication with students and supervisors is crucial for timely project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure internal academic supervision for students
• Organize workshops supporting capstone progress
• Follow up on deadlines and project schedules
• Establish grading standards for assessments
• Host and facilitate student presentation events
Requirements:
• Significant forestry sector experience
• Knowledge of the Master of Forest Conservation capstone process
