The University of Toronto invites applicants for a Sessional Lecturer position for CTL
7056H Music - Instrumental and Vocal. A doctoral degree or equivalent experience is required, along with a profound understanding of music education and diversity principles. Applicants will teach, assess student progress, and participate in collaborative course planning while ensuring a rich learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize and deliver course content effectively
• Assess and provide constructive feedback on student work
• Attend departmental and planning meetings
• Design inclusive learning experiences and assessments
• Create a supportive classroom dynamic
Requirements:
• Doctoral qualification or equivalent professional background
• Mastery of instrumental and vocal music
• K-12 teaching experience in Ontario
• Excellence in in-person and online instruction
• Preferred Ontario Teaching Certificate
