Join Humber Polytechnic as a Part-Time Professor, teaching graduate courses in Cybersecurity Operations and Management. Play a vital role in shaping the next generation of cybersecurity experts in a hybrid environment.
This contract position is set to commence in Fall 2026, with responsibilities to include teaching advanced topics like integrated infrastructure security, incident response, and cryptography. Successful candidates must hold a PhD and demonstrate teaching proficiency, along with significant hands-on cybersecurity experience. Collaborating with industry partners will also be a part of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct students in advanced network security and ethical hacking
• Use hands-on labs and simulations to enhance learning
• Mentor students on industry-related projects
• Evaluate student work and provide constructive feedback
• Lead classes in cybersecurity ethics and governance
Requirements:
• Completed PhD in a relevant field
• Strong cybersecurity domain expertise
• Experience teaching at the graduate level
• Certification in cybersecurity highly recommended
• Proven commitment to experiential learning
