Shape the future of art education at the University of Toronto as a Sessional Lecturer for CTL
7088H. Deliver engaging curricula that meet diverse learner needs in Visual Arts.
Candidates must have a Doctoral degree or relevant professional experience to teach this graduate course. You will guide OISE MT students through effective teaching methods grounded in the Ontario Ministry’s curriculum policies.
Your role includes crafting lesson plans and exploring the integration of Visual Arts with subjects like environmental education and social justice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and teach the curriculum course in Visual Arts
• Offer support and guidance to students
• Attend faculty planning and instructional meetings
• Submit required course documents on time
• Promote equity and inclusion in teaching
Requirements:
• Doctoral degree or equivalent in the field
• Demonstrated teaching excellence, particularly online
• Knowledge of diversity and inclusion principles
• Familiarity with Ontario Ministry of Education guidelines
• Ontario Teaching Certificate is advantageous
