Become a Sessional Lecturer for MSC
1090H Introduction to Computational Biostatistics with R at the University of Toronto. Engage with graduate students to enhance their analytical skills in statistics.
This role encompasses a 0.25 FCE Sessional Lecturer appointment where two educators share responsibilities. Your expertise will shape how students interact with statistical tools and data sets through effective instructional methods. Your prior experience in teaching will greatly benefit your delivery of course materials.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and present insightful course content
• Design and assess tests, assignments, and exams
• Provide timely feedback and grades to students
• Offer support during regular office hours
• Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants
Requirements:
• PhD in Statistics or Biostatistics required
• Strong skills in R programming and data analysis
• Demonstrated teaching experience at university level
• Familiarity with computational biostatistics is an asset
