Course DescriptionAn introduction to the physics of sound and the physiology of speech perception and production for the purpose of assessing and treating speech disorders in children and adults. Topics include acoustic, perceptual, kinematic, and aerodynamic methods of assessing speech disorders as well as current computer applications that facilitate assessment.

- Sessional Lecturer III – Long Term: $11,228.90

Minimum Qualifications- PhD in Speech Language Pathology or a related area.
- Clinical experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech disorders in children and adults.
- Experience teaching PLIC
54H3 or equivalent.
- Design and teach a university credit course.
- Prepare and deliver course content.
- Develop, administer, and mark assignments.
- Calculate and submit grades.
- Hold regular office hours.
