Become an Instructor for CTL
7084H Issues in Numeracy at the University of Toronto, focusing on significant mathematics education topics. Champion student learning through various instructional methods.
Your sessional position will commence in January 2027 and end in April. This role allows you to delve into pressing issues related to mathematics instruction while facilitating engaging discussions. Candidates should bring strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to mentoring students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support students during class sessions and discussions
• Grade assignments across four student cohorts
• Facilitate one asynchronous class learning environment
• Respond to student inquiries in-person and via email
• Prepare classroom materials and setups prior to lectures
Requirements:
• Proven experience in designing math curriculum and lessons
• Effective communication and supportive teamwork skills
• Commitment to student success and learning needs
• Preferred background in K-12 mathematics education
• Ontario Teaching Certificate considered an asset
