Shape the future of technology education by teaching at the Toronto District School Board this summer. Develop students' skills in construction and technology from July 6.
The Toronto District School Board is seeking five qualified teachers for its summer program commencing July 6, 2026. Educators will be responsible for teaching TAS1O1 Exploring Technologies and TCJ3C Construction Engineering Technology, providing an engaging curriculum that empowers students with hands-on skills and knowledge related to construction and its regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct students in exploring technologies and construction engineering
• Facilitate hands-on learning with construction materials and equipment
• Guide students on building design and project planning
• Promote awareness of environmental and societal implications
• Introduce career opportunities in the construction field
Requirements:
• Five years of teaching experience in TAS
201 and TCJ3C
• Good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
• Commitment to equity and advancing human rights in classroom settings
• Demonstrated expertise in anti-oppressive teaching methods
• Available from July 6 to July 31, 2026
