Elementary Modern Hebrew I. Ideal candidates will possess a PhD and (near-)native Hebrew proficiency. Your responsibilities will include crafting course syllabi, delivering engaging lectures, and evaluating student assignments in a hands-on teaching environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed syllabus and instructional materials

• Present lectures twice a week to facilitate learning

• Grade exams and student writing assignments

• Conduct office hours to support student learning

• Undertake additional pedagogical duties as required

Requirements:

• PhD in Religion or a related area

• Near-native spoken and written Hebrew skills

• Demonstrated teaching experience at the university level

• Cultural studies knowledge is crucial

• Excellence in teaching similar courses preferred
