Special Topics on Ed Tech and AI. Guide students in understanding the transformation of higher education through innovative technologies and AI.
This graduate half-course focuses on the transformative effects of generative AI and its impact on education. Candidates must hold a doctorate and possess a thorough understanding of educational technology and AI applications. Through interactive seminars and site visits, you'll tackle critical issues surrounding ethics, sustainability, and governance in institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct and organize engaging seminar discussions
• Facilitate site visits to enhance learning experience
• Assist students in academic inquiries and support
• Provide feedback on assessments and student submissions
• Promote an inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:
• PhD in Higher Education or a related discipline
• Documented scholarship in educational technology
• Experience in a post-secondary institution setting
• Teaching background in the course subject matter
• Advocacy for diversity and embedding inclusive practices
Utilize your knowledge to explore and address the challenges of AI in higher education at the University of Toronto.
