The University of Toronto invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer position for the course PHY
100H1F at the St. George campus. This role requires a PhD in Physics and prior teaching experience at the University level. The course encompasses a broad survey of both Classical and Modern Physics, aimed at engaging non-science students through relatable topics such as chaos and time travel.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and teach the undergraduate course
• Deliver organized and inspiring lectures
• Oversee teaching assistant activities
• Design and evaluate examinations and tests
• Offer office hours for student support
Requirements:
• PhD in Physics is mandatory
• Proven teaching experience at the University level
• Prior experience with non-science students preferred
• Effective communication skills
