Become a vital part of the University of Toronto as a Sessional Lecturer for VIS
209H1S:
Contemporary Printing. Engage students with your expertise in innovative printmaking techniques.
In this role under the Faculty of Architecture, Landscape & Design, you will teach and guide students from January to April 2027. Candidates should possess an MA or MFA and demonstrate significant exhibition experience. Responsibilities include delivering lectures, grading work, and managing teaching assistants to enhance student learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Craft and present engaging lectures and materials
• Manage digital resources and course tools
• Supervise and mentor teaching assistants
• Design evaluations, assignments, and final exams
• Handle student inquiries and academic appeals
Requirements:
• MA or MFA with a strong teaching background
• Proven exhibition experience in printmaking
• Strong understanding of contemporary art practices
• Familiarity with both traditional and modern techniques
• References may be requested throughout hiring process
