Empower aspiring vocalists in the Advanced Vocal Repertoire Study I & II course at the University of Toronto. Focus on vocal performance and repertoire mastery in a collaborative environment.
This position at the Faculty of Music requires expertise in advanced solo vocal music, highlighting collaborative repertoire choices and effective performance techniques. Candidates will serve from January to April 2027, facilitating individual coaching and master classes in a supportive teaching framework aimed at honing interpretation and diction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create course guidelines and develop materials
• Administer classes and evaluate submissions
• Submit final grades per university policy
• Offer student consultation hours beyond class time
Requirements:
• Graduate degree in performance; doctorate preferred
• Active career in vocal arts with extensive repertoire knowledge
• Demonstrated excellence in coaching singers at university level
