Become a Sessional Lecturer in ECO
227Y1Y Foundations of Econometrics at the University of Toronto. Deliver in-person lectures while guiding students through essential statistical concepts in the vibrant setting of Toronto.
The University of Toronto is looking for a qualified Sessional Lecturer for the academic period. Success in this role requires a PhD in Economics and past teaching experience at the university level. You will be responsible for lecture preparation, course delivery, and assessment grading, all aimed at fostering student learning and understanding in econometrics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver structured lectures in econometrics
• Lead and mentor assigned teaching assistants
• Supervise assessments and ensure academic integrity
• Conduct office hours for student support
• Adjust course materials as necessary
Requirements:
• Doctorate in Economics required
• Experience teaching econometrics or similar courses
