102H1F at the University of Toronto’s St. George campus. Share your economic expertise in an in-person lecture setting with students this fall.
The Department of Economics is looking for a dedicated educator to teach Principles of Macroeconomics. This part-time role spans from September to December 2026. Candidates should possess a PhD in Economics and experience with university-level instruction, especially with large classes, to enhance student learning and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct lectures that clarify economic principles and applications
• Oversee the work of teaching assistants in the course
• Design and administer tests and examinations
• Provide office hours to support and counsel students
• Stay updated on course delivery methods and adapt as necessary
Requirements:
• PhD in Economics is mandatory
• Teaching experience in similar macroeconomic courses
• Documented excellence in university-level teaching
• Experience managing large student groups
• Strong organizational skills and commitment to diversity
Deliver insightful economic instruction to enrich student understanding at the University of Toronto.
