This role within the APS
111/112 Engineering Strategies & Practice courses at the University of Toronto seeks a qualified instructor with a Master's degree. You will work with approximately 1,200 students in small tutorial groups, focusing on project management and communication as key components of their learning. Responsibilities include course preparation, team collaboration, and grading of technical reports and presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and organize course lectures and materials
• Facilitate team-based design projects
• Attend instructor coordination meetings
• Provide continuous feedback and assistance to students
• Prepare for and manage assessments during exam periods
Requirements:
• Master's degree in a relevant discipline
• Demonstrated teaching abilities and communication expertise
• Collaborative experience in team environments
• Availability for in-person meetings and support
• Capability to adapt teaching methods as needed
