High School Tutor in Math and Science

Shape young minds as a part-time Math and Science Tutor at Oxford Learning Markham South. If you’re enthusiastic about empowering students, this role is for you.

This part-time position focuses on assisting high school students with their studies in math and science. You'll engage learners in topics from algebra to calculus and biology, all while following a structured lesson plan tailored to our teaching methods. Tutors are expected to work from 4 PM to 8 PM during weekdays and possible Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct 3 students at different academic levels

• Implement Oxford Learning's teaching strategies

• Complete post-lesson notes and updates

• Communicate frequently about student progress

• Participate in team-building staff events

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant certifications

• Experience in high school math/science tutoring

• Excellent communication skills in English

• Multitasking ability with multiple students

• Availability through the school year
