K-12 Indigenous Education Instructional Leader

Become a K-12 Indigenous Education Instructional Leader with TDSB, fostering change and supporting Indigenous students' educational journeys. Engage deeply with diverse communities and create inclusive programs.

The Toronto District School Board is inviting applicants for a K-12 Instructional Leader role focused on Indigenous Education. This position will work closely with the Urban Indigenous Education Centre and engage in essential equity initiatives. You will provide professional development, support Indigenous curricula, and lead key educational projects to enhance student learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead programs promoting equity in education

• Collaborate on initiatives with Indigenous Education teams

• Support staff in integrating Indigenous worldviews in curricula

• Mentor educators in best practices for diverse classrooms

• Develop and refine educational resources and materials

Requirements:

• Ontario College of Teachers' Certification in good standing

• Proven experience in Indigenous Education

• Minimum three years of teaching and leadership experience

• Strong preference for candidates with Indigenous lived experiences

• Effective skills in communication and collaboration
