Legal Aid Intake Training Specialist

Enhance training programs at Legal Aid Ontario as an Intake Training Specialist. This pivotal role focuses on developing training resources that improve staff performance.

Reporting to the Manager of Knowledge and Information Management and Training, you will handle orientation for new staff, develop training related to LAO initiatives, and ensure quality assurance is integrated throughout the training process. Your expertise in training program evaluation and needs assessment will be crucial in fostering continually improving training solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and conduct orientation and training sessions

• Analyze and modify training programs based on evaluations

• Design multimedia content for training needs

• Support KIM users by identifying knowledge gaps

• Monitor training programs for quality assurance

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in LAO’s roles

• Background in developing training for adults

• Excellent writing and communication skills

• Strong understanding of knowledge management practices

• Familiarity with remote training solutions
