Mathematics Sessional Lecturer - Woodsworth College

This position emphasizes the design, preparation, and delivery of engaging course content for mature students in Woodsworth’s Academic Bridging Program. As a sessional lecturer for the Faculty of Arts and Science, you will facilitate lectures, develop assessments, and grade student work. Your teaching will involve collaboration with other instructors and maintaining student contact outside scheduled hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging mathematics course content

• Administer assignments and tests effectively

• Grade student submissions and provide feedback

• Coordinate with other instructors in Academic Bridging

• Use Quercus for course management and communication

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Mathematics or related field

• Graduate work and teaching experience at university level

• Preferred:
Ph.D. and access program teaching experience

• Commitment to student success and equity principles

• Availability for scheduled class times
