Painting:
Contemporary Practice introduces philosophical and theoretical issues raised by the conceptual relationship of painting to other artistic strategies and the contemporary environment. Studio work will be complemented by the study of advanced artists working in this medium.

  • Sessional Lecturer I: $ 9,997.58
  • Sessional Lecturer I Long Term: $ 10,699.22
  • Sessional Lecturer II: $ 10,699.22
  • Sessional Lecturer II Long Term: $ 10,953.96
  • Sessional Lecturer III: $ 10,953.96
  • Sessional Lecturer III Long Term: $ 11,228.90

Minimum Qualifications

MA or MFA (or equivalent graduate degree) required with previous teaching experience. Strong exhibition history and currently exhibiting artist. Applicants may be asked to supply references.

Preferred Qualifications

Internationally recognized practice.

Description of Duties

Preparation and delivery of course material; managing digital teaching materials, supervision of teaching assistants; preparation and delivery of assignments, tests, final examinations and deferred final examinations; marking of student work, submission of grades, dealing with student enquiries, appeals and petitions and student contact hours.
