About
The Role We are seeking a certified and engaging First Aid Instructor to deliver high‑quality First Aid, CPR, and AED training sessions to individuals, corporate clients, and community groups. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about safety, teaching, and empowering others with life‑saving skills.
Job Location:
On site - Ontario
Key Responsibilities Deliver instructor‑led training sessions in: Standard First Aid
Emergency First Aid
CPR/AED (Adult, Child, Infant)
Facilitate interactive, hands‑on learning experiences using real‑life scenarios
Ensure all training aligns with Canadian Red Cross, WSIB, and CSA standards
Prepare lesson plans, course materials, and training equipment
Assess participant performance and conduct evaluations/exams
Maintain accurate training records, attendance, and certification documentation
Provide post‑training support and answer learner queries
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and training guidelines
Qualifications & Requirements Valid certification as a First Aid & CPR Instructor (e.g., Canadian Red Cross or equivalent)
Current certification in: Standard First Aid
CPR/AED
Strong knowledge of current first aid practices and techniques
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to confidently demonstrate practical techniques (CPR, bandaging, etc.)
Prior teaching or training experience preferred
Ability to travel to client locations (if required)
Flexible availability (weekdays/weekends)
Preferred Experience Experience delivering workplace safety or corporate training
Background in healthcare, emergency response, or safety training
Experience with adult learning methodologies
Work Schedule Flexible, part‑time hours (typically 10–25 hours/week)
Weekend and in‑office training availability may be required
Compensation Competitive hourly / per‑session rate
Travel reimbursement (if applicable)
