Shape the future of economics education as a Contract Lecturer for ECN
801 at your institution. This role involves teaching a condensed course with interactive lectures and a focus on practical applications.
We are seeking a qualified instructor for the ECN
801 course during Spring 2025, covering three hours of lecture twice weekly. The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s degree in Economics or equivalent credentials, along with experience teaching similar courses. You will be responsible for engaging with approximately 130 students and facilitating their academic journey.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver interactive lectures twice weekly for ECN
801
• Manage course assignments and ensure follow-through
• Provide email support and engage with students
• Adapt teaching based on enrollment numbers
• Maintain academic currency through current publications
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Economics or equivalent credentials
• Previous teaching experience in economics courses
• Recent practice in related field (6-10 years preferred)
• Strong interactive skills for effective teaching
• Proven record of academic publications in the last 5 years
