As a Clinical Skills & Group Practice Instructor, you will facilitate virtual training for students enrolled in VCCT's programs. This role emphasizes the development of key skills such as empathy, ethical decision-making, and therapeutic communication. Your guidance will aid students in mastering these vital competencies for their future careers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct online clinical skills training sessions
• Simulate counseling scenarios for student learning
• Teach and model micro-skills for effective counseling
• Oversee group therapy role-plays and provide feedback
• Aid students in preparing for practicum placements
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field
• Valid skilled designation as RCC or equivalent
• Background in providing counseling services
• Experience facilitating adult learning and groups
• Familiarity with online teaching methodologies
