Our client seeks an organized and detail-oriented individual to assist in daily library operations. You will support user inquiries, manage materials, and facilitate community outreach activities. This unique position provides a solid foundation in library practices while contributing to a mission-driven organization focused on community enhancement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver friendly support to library users in person
• Assist with returns, check-outs, and renewals
• Prepare engaging displays for user outreach
• Ensure accurate shelving and labeling of materials
• Oversee basic library functions in the Librarian's absence
Requirements:
• 12 years of relevant library or administrative experience
• College diploma in Library and Information Technician preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic troubleshooting
