Position: Exploring Technologies Teacher Summer 2026
Teach Exploring Technologies and Construction Engineering at Toronto District School Board this summer. Deliver hands-on learning experiences to secondary students, starting July 6.

The Toronto District School Board is hiring for five teacher positions focused on TAS
201 and TCJ3C courses at David and Mary Thomson Collegiate Institute. Ideal candidates will possess teaching experience, a valid OCT certificate, and knowledge of construction materials and processes. You will play a crucial role in introducing students to building design and project planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver TAS
201 and TCJ3C curriculum effectively

• Provide hands-on learning using construction tools and materials

• Teach building design and project planning skills

• Explore career opportunities in construction technology

• Stay updated on the Ontario Building Code and regulations

Requirements:

• Experience teaching TAS
201 and TCJ3C courses

• Good standing with Ontario College of Teachers

• Knowledgeable in industry practices and standards

• Capable of hands-on instruction with various materials

• Awareness of environmental and societal issues in construction

Contribute to the learning journey of secondary students while promoting equity and human rights in Toronto.
