As a Mentoring Coach at Skills for Change, you will guide newcomers and internationally trained professionals through the Canadian workforce integration process. This role focuses on one-on-one career coaching, virtual training, and establishing relationships with industry professionals. You'll develop resources that enhance job readiness and facilitate workshops in key sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide personalized career coaching and mentoring
• Conduct virtual orientation sessions on Canadian workplace culture
• Develop tailored action plans for mentees
• Create industry-specific portfolios and connect clients with mentors
• Collect and report statistics on client progress and outcomes
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field;
Master’s preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience in career coaching
• Familiarity with Canadian labor market and employment standards
• Strong networking and stakeholder collaboration skills
• Experience in virtual training and mentorship platforms
