This position covers the WGS
355H1S course running from January 1, 2027 to April 30, 2027. Qualified candidates should possess a completed Ph.D. with a focus on gender studies. Prior teaching experience and knowledge in Caribbean or Afro-Asian feminisms are advantages. Engage with students and enhance their understanding of complex gender dynamics in various workplace contexts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and develop the course syllabus and materials
• Manage assessments, including assignments and exams
• Conduct regular office hours for student support
• Communicate effectively with students via email
• Oversee potential teaching assistants or graders
Requirements:
• Completed Ph.D. in a related field
• Experience teaching at the university level
• Expertise in gender studies, particularly on mentioned themes
• Commitment to equity and inclusion in the classroom
