Teach American Sign Language (ASL) in LINB

The University of Toronto is seeking a Sessional Lecturer to guide students through the intricacies of American Sign Language. Candidates should possess mastery in ASL and prior teaching experience, ideally in LINB
62H3 or similar courses. You will design course content, deliver lectures, and evaluate student performance to foster learning in a diverse classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and teach all aspects of LINB
62H3 course
• Prepare engaging course materials and activities
• Administer and grade assignments for students
• Calculate and submit student grades accurately
• Hold regular office hours for student assistance
Requirements:
• Mastery of American Sign Language
• Experience teaching LINB
62H3 or equivalent
• Strong academic record in relevant subjects
• Prior teaching experience is beneficial
