Experienced Childcare Supervisor

Lead the Waterfront Montessori Children's Centre as a Childcare Supervisor in vibrant Toronto, Ontario. This full-time role emphasizes Montessori and nature-based learning in an engaging preschool environment.

WMCC is seeking a committed Registered Early Childhood Educator for this leadership position. You will supervise children and staff, ensuring licensing compliance while integrating innovative curriculum approaches. Collaborate with our Parent Board on key operational aspects, manage enrolment processes, and liaise with health agencies. Your expertise will shape enriching experiences for children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise preschool children and fellow staff members

• Ensure compliance with provincial and municipal licensing requirements

• Integrate Montessori and nature curricula into daily programs

• Manage enrolment, tours, and open houses efficiently

• Liaise with Toronto Public Health and community partners

Requirements:

• RECE in good standing with licensing body

• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in childcare

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Familiarity with CCEYA and CWELCC regulations

• Valid Vulnerable Sector Check and CPR/First Aid Level C
