Lead the MGAC
50H3 course on Canadian Income Taxation I at the University of Toronto Scarborough. This position focuses on teaching, course design, and student engagement every Tuesday evening.
The UofT Scarborough is seeking a Sessional Lecturer to deliver in-depth instruction on individual and small business income taxation. Candidates should possess a CPA, CA designation, teaching excellence, and experience at the university level. Responsibilities include course preparation, assessment, and maintaining student availability during office hours.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver course content for MGAC
50H3
• Develop and administer assignments, tests, and exams
• Calculate and submit students' final grades
• Hold regular office hours for student support
• Supervise teaching assistants assigned to the course
Requirements:
• Minimum CPA, CA designation required
• Demonstrated teaching excellence in related subjects
• Experience in undergraduate teaching environments
• Mastery of current Canadian tax laws
• Several years of relevant professional experience
Elevate student understanding of taxation concepts through effective teaching and dedicated support.
