The Royal Conservatory (RCM) is one of the largest and most respected music education institutions in the world, providing the definitive standard of excellence in curriculum design, assessment, performance training and teacher certification. The Glenn Gould School offers a 24-week academic term in which the Vocal Coach provides 24 hours of instruction (12 hours per term) on collaborative piano and vocal coaching.

Students perform in multiple weekly classes, master classes, and recitals throughout the academic year.

Wage Range: $75 - $95 per hour

Provide one-to-one piano accompaniment and vocal coaching for students, preparing them for ensemble and recitals.

• Five years of experience as a collaborative pianist in paid professional and postsecondary academic settings.
• Significant experience collaborating and coaching singers in multiple genres including opera, oratorio and art song.
• Collegial, energized, self-starter with excellent pianistic skills, ability to sight-read or quick study at a high level.

• The selection process may include an audition.
• A valid Vulnerable Sector Check is required prior to the start of the term, as a condition of employment.
