The Department of Civil Engineering is looking for an Impact+ Emerging Leaders Early Career Researcher. Candidates should be within five years of their first research appointment and have a robust background in Digital Twins, AI, and systems modeling. Additionally, teaching and supervision at undergraduate and graduate levels, alongside curriculum development, are key responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct advanced research in Integrated Urban Systems Engineering
• Teach and supervise undergraduates and graduates
• Develop and review curriculum in line with program goals
• Engage in departmental and university service activities
• Foster partnerships and innovative research contributions
Requirements:
• PhD in Civil Engineering or related field
• Eligible for P.Eng. registration in Ontario
• Strong record of emerging scholarly research
• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in teaching
• Evidence of past student mentorship and inclusive practices
