Become a Sessional Lecturer at the University of Toronto Scarborough for the Media Activism course this Fall 2026. You will guide and assess students in a vibrant classroom setting.
The university is looking for someone with a strong academic background and experience in teaching media studies. Applicants should hold a PhD and be prepared to create engaging course material, conduct assessments, and maintain regular office hours. Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement the Media Activism course
• Prepare engaging lectures and materials
• Administer assignments and provide constructive feedback
• Calculate and submit student grades according to deadlines
• Maintain office hours to assist students
Requirements:
• Doctorate in media studies or relevant field
• Proven teaching experience at the university level
• Active research on media and activism topics
• Preference for qualified Sessional Lecturers II or III
