Topic: How should artists make pictures in a world inundated with a relentless flow of digital images? This lecture course explores contemporary artmaking, visual technologies, and the role of the image.
Duties and Responsibilities- Design and teach a university credit course; prepare and deliver course content.
- Participate in Studio’s exhibitions and guest lecture opportunities on campus.
- Develop, administer, and mark assignments and final portfolios.
- Calculate and submit grades for all students.
- Hold regular office hours.
- Work closely with permanent faculty for course administration.
- Teaching experience at the university level, particularly in lecture format classes.
- Expertise in the history of modern and contemporary art with a specific focus on visual and digital technologies.
- Training in art history, curatorial practice, or art practice is preferred.
- Background as an active professional artist with practical knowledge and experience in art production is considered an asset.

- Sessional Lecturer III: $10,953.96
