Shape the future of linguistics as a Sessional Lecturer for LINC
02H3 Phonology II at UofT Scarborough. Bring your expertise in phonological theory and phonetic principles to the classroom.
The University of Toronto Scarborough invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer role commencing September 8, 2026. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Linguistics with a focus on Phonology, showcasing a solid research background. You will design the course, conduct lectures, and provide grading and support through office hours.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and teach the LINC
02H3 phonology syllabus
• Develop and deliver course materials effectively
• Assess student assignments and provide feedback
• Submit grades accurately and on time
• Maintain office hours for student assistance
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in Linguistics, specialization in Phonology
• Established record of research in phonetics or phonology
• Strong teaching credentials and academic promise
• Experience teaching upper-level courses is preferred
• Familiarity with LINC
02H3 or related courses is a plus
