Join the University of St. Michael’s College as an Instructor for SMJ 1610HF:
General Introduction to Eastern Churches. Help students navigate Eastern Church history, culture, and theology this Fall.
The role requires expertise in Eastern Christian Studies and invites applications for the Fall 2026 semester. Instructors will focus on topics such as liturgy, monasticism, and inter-Christian relations while engaging students through well-structured assignments and assessments. A Ph.D. is essential, with a preference for candidates who have previous teaching experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver comprehensive course material
• Create and grade assignments, tests, and exams
• Submit accurate student grades on time
• Conduct regular office hours for ongoing support
• Oversee assigned Teaching Assistants effectively
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in Eastern Christian Studies is mandatory
• Teaching experience in similar subjects preferred
• Strong grading and assessment capabilities
