. This is a 10-month part-time contract position working evening and weekend shifts.
Salary for this position is $20- 22 per hour. Part-time employees are not required to live on campus.

Boarding Staff play avital role in fostering a supportive and engaging experience for boardingstudents. They ensure students' individual needs, strengths, and talents are recognized and nurtured. With an understanding of adolescent development,Boarding Staff provideemotional and social support within a structured,safe boarding environment.
Boarding Staff report to the Director of Boarding andwork collaboratively with other boarding team members and the Boarding Leadership team (Director & Assistant Directors) to provide comprehensive care and safeguard student wellbeing. They work closely with the Health Centre (Nurses and Social Worker) and teaching faculty to provide a supportive and caring environment for all boarding students.
Specific Accountabilities- Ensure thatstudents' overall needs are met by actively monitoring and supporting their physical health, mental wellbeing, social development, behaviour, and emotionalresilience. This includes facilitating access to health services, promotingpositive social interactions, implementing behaviour management strategies, and providing emotional support through active listening, mentorship, and intervention when necessary.
- Support andimplement boarding programming.
- Organize and facilitate activities for students both on and off campus.
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, student support (Health Centre, Guidance,Social Work, Chaplain) as needed.
- Maintainprofessional accountability, boundaries, responsibility, and model appropriatebehaviour.
- Establishboarding expectations aligned with the Code of Conduct, school handbooks andother school policies for students and carry out disciplinary measures when necessary.
- Manage and maintain the Boarding School to ensure a safe, secure and clean environment by conducting regular inspections and completing duties necessary to the smoothfunctioning of the Boarding School.
- Coordinatesafety checks and ensure compliance with regulations in accordance with the School Emergency Procedures.
