VOCAL TEACHER

We are looking for vocal teachers who can mentor students in a supportive environment, helping them reach their full potential.
Job Responsibilities- Deliver one‑on‑one and small‑group singing lessons to students of all ages and skill levels.
- Develop lesson plans and curriculum that reflect the school’s mission and repertoire.
- Collaborate with the department head and administrative staff to schedule classes, match students to suitable instructors, and ensure studio resources are used efficiently.
- Provide performance opportunities and support students in public performances, recordings, and competitions.
- Act as an active performer or recording artist, serving as adjudicator, guest lecturer, remote coach for elite students, or content contributor when appropriate.
- Maintain professional development and stay current in vocal technique, pedagogy, and industry standards.
- Reside in the Toronto area if teaching in‑person, or be available to work remotely from any location.
- Demonstrate musicianship and a genuine connection with education; willingness to work in a long‑term, collaborative setting.
- Post‑secondary education in music, vocal performance, or a related field (a bachelor’s or higher degree is preferred but not required if significant industry experience is demonstrated).
- Experience teaching voice, performing, or recording in the classical, operatic, musical theatre, pop, jazz, or R&B genres.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Availability for part‑time or full‑time teaching, including evenings and weekends if needed.
